An innovative scale-up revolutionising fitness technology through its AI-powered platform is looking for a Senior QA Engineer!

Salary: £85,000
Based: London (Hybrid, 2 days WFH)

As the Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing QA across various aspects of our organization, including the mirror application, computer vision tracking, workout content, and potentially hardware. You will collaborate closely with our CPO and be integral to ensuring product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts for the mirror application, admin web app, computer vision tracking, workout content, and hardware.
• Implement shift-left testing practices and integrate regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
• Perform manual testing to detect and reproduce bugs across the software and hardware components.
• Collaborate with computer vision engineers for accuracy in rep counts and form feedback.
• Ensure quality standards are met for new workout content and inspect new hardware shipments.
• Facilitate smooth feature releases with minimal bugs and coordinate with developers.

Requirements:

• Extensive QA experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with mobile and web app testing, including usability principles.
• Ability to design comprehensive test plans and strategies for various tech stack components.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and test management solutions like Xray.
• Outstanding communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Detail-oriented with a process-minded approach and experience in Agile Scrum teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a passion for technology and fitness.

• Experience with QA for physical products.
• Product-minded with a strong understanding of product development.
• Previous development experience is advantageous.
