5 of Bristol’s finest UX Events H2 2018
With Bristol arguably being the UKs biggest creative hub outside of London we wanted to see what events and meetups are available for those in the industry or simply keen to learn.
Here are 5 of the top meetups we’ve found:
Collaborate Bristol
When: 29th June 2018
Where: The Watershed
How Much: £38.93-£173.12
One of Bristol’s biggest UX events, now in its 6th year it offers an excellent spread of speakers including in this years event talks from employees of Just Eat, Facebook and Elsevier to name just a few.
UXBristol
When: 13th July 2018
Where: MShed
How Much: £149 + Booking Fee
Now running their 8th Event UXbristol is a great event for anyone in the UX industry looking to network and share ideas with their fellow UXers in the area. They offer 12 workshops (you can attend 4 on the day) where you will be able to learn new things as well as meet valuable contacts.
SWUX
When: 2nd Tuesday of every month
Where: Various locations in Bristol (normally in the offices of a top Bristol Agency)
How Much: FREE
A whole host of topics are discussed on a monthly basis with some of the SouthWest best Uxers talking. It’s a great event open to anyone who wants to speak or simply kick back and listen. They offer great variety with workshops as well as talks. Importantly there’s always lots of time for questions to discuss topics and network with others.
Ladies that UX
When: The last Thursday of every month
Where: Various Locations in Bristol
How Much: FREE
Part of the international Ladies That UX Movement, this group of ladies are changing the boundaries and empowering the female voice in the Tech Market. With some of the finest Uxers in the Bristol market giving some topical talks, this event is for everyone and not just those in the know. The Ladies that UX Bristol actively encourage those without experience but an interest to come along and get involved.
UCD Bristol
When: 3rd Wednesday of every month
Where: Edo
How Much: Free
Again some great variety from a group that offers a variety of workshops and talks on a range of topic from design to research. The topics vary but include UX, Graphic Design, Service Design, AI and much much more!
