A Leading technology provider for the shipping industry is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the growing European team following a large scale modernisaton. 

Salary: 55,000 euros per annum

Location: Fully Remote (in below locations)

Greece, Spain, Gibraltar, Malta, Poland, United Kingdom

Responsibilities: 

• Review and understand ISS enterprise IT and applications architecture, product management and product delivery frameworks
• Review and understand product specific architecture, design, and technology stack, define and setup development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations
• Monitoring the processes during the sprint lifecycle and in production environment for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Configure DevOps tools and develop automated reports on product management, development and operations metrics
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline
• Encouraging and building automated processes across the product lifecycle wherever possible
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Coordination and communication within the team and with product stakeholders
• Mentoring and guiding the team members
• Monitoring and measuring user experience and product KPIs

Required Skills: 

• A strict Agile practitioner with master level experience in using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps
• Expert level knowledge of DevOps tools like Bitbucket/GitHub, Sonar Cube, CAST, Team City/Jenkins/Azure DevOps
• Expert level knowledge of telemetry and observability platforms like ELK stack, Grafana, Azure Application Insights, AWS Cloud Watch etc.,
• Expertise in one or more technologies: XML, JSON, YAML and google protocol buffer
• Unit testing tools & frameworks like NUnit and Mock
• Scripting languages preferably python, PowerShell
• Database technologies preferably MS SQL Server, Postgres SQL
• Infrastructure as code

Desirable

• AWS cloud native development using EC2, Lambda, S3, Simple Que Service etc.,
• C#, .NET, NodeJS, Web API, React native, mobile application development
• React JS, HTML 5.0, CSS 3, Bootstrap 5+
• Working experience on middleware platforms,
