A global leader in shipping logistics is looking for a EU Engineering Lead to spearhead the teams development and promote all things best practice

Location: Remote – EU

Renumeration: €70,000 per annum

Duties:

• To understand enterprise and product specific solutions to ensure their adherence at technical design and implementation level
• Evaluate and establish full stack engineering standards for both Web and mobile application development using best in class tools and frameworks.
• Plan and create reusable components to promote best practices and standardization
• Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development, and systems integration
• Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members
• Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across product development life cycle
• Guide product teams through the development, testing and implementation stages on all technical requirements and review the completed work effectively and take ownership for quality output
• Ensure continuous software engineering efficiencies
• Focus on capability build in Full Stack Engineering technologies and build best in class team with continuous upskilling and cross-skilling
• Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for solution delivery

Skills & Techstack:

• React JS, HTML 5.0, CSS 3, Bootstrap 5+, Angular
• .Net 6 OR 7 / C# experience would be a bonus
• Experience in Developing Microservices, Web API and API Integration with third parties
• AWS cloud native development using EC2, Lambda, S3, Simple Queue Service-SQS, SNS etc.,
• Database technologies – PostgreSQL, S3, AWS RedShift and Aurora (MS SQL Server will be a plus but not mandatory)
• Scripting languages preferably python, PowerShell
• Expertise in one or more technologies: XML, JSON, YAML and google protocol buffer
• Unit testing tools & frameworks like NUnit, Mock, JEST
• Agile product management tools like Jira, Confluence
