About You
You are a bright, ambitious and articulate self-starter, with extensive experience of set up and management of Azure Cloud hosting environments. You are experienced with networking, both within a Cloud hosting environment and for web technology applications in general.
You have some experience with DevOps, with a desire to learn more; you also have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other Containerisation technologies — especially in the way in which they are hosted within Azure pods.

About Our Client
They are a multi-disciplinary solution provider, with a heritage in building digital solutions on top of its Open Standards-based content management platform.

The client provides solutions to the public sector — including Social Housing, Local Government and the NHS — and thus security and Data Protection are key elements of both the application and hosting environment. These range from simple corporate websites, through complex intranets with many thousands of users, to personalised user portals with tight integration with both Cloud and customer-networked solutions.
Our Azure hosting environment — which consists of nginx Web Application Firewalls, Linux VMs, and MySQL database — serves around 400 million hits each month, and successfully repelled 12.6 million malicious attacks in the first half of 2023 — all whilst serving web pages at or below 1s response time.
Experience Required
You must have the following skills:
• 3+ years experience in maintenance and improvement of a Microsoft Azure Cloud hosting environment (not AWS), including knowledge of of Azure Virtual Networks and Network Security Groups, as well as external threat management.
