Responsibilities

• Lead the design strategy and execution of user-friendly, visually appealing, and accessible experiences for acquisition and onboarding workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate business goals and user needs into innovative design solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and improve the user journey.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design ideas effectively across teams.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all aspects of product design, ensuring our experiences empower every user.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering an exchange of ideas and continuous growth.
• Drive the iterative design process, incorporating feedback and improvements to deliver impactful results.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to elevate our design competencies and processes.
• Champion a user-centered design philosophy while achieving business objectives and aligning with the company vision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on user acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, InVision).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating intuitive, user-centered designs for web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience in designing for diverse audiences, with an emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user-centered methodologies.
• Demonstrable knowledge of usability testing, A/B testing, and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects within deadlines.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks and how designs are implemented is a plus.

Day-to-Day

• Partner with cross-functional teams during daily stand-ups, design critiques, and project planning discussions.
• Conduct user research and collaborate with the research team to identify pain points and opportunities in acquisition and onboarding experiences.
• Create and iterate wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to refine design solutions.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of design specs.
• Present design concepts and user insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Test and fine-tune designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
• Participate in team training, sharing knowledge on design, accessibility practices, and inclusive methodologies.
